Please excuse our appearance/functionality while we are under construction.

The NY/NJ AETC is pleased to announce that we are now the Northeast/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center (NECA AETC), serving healthcare professionals throughout New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands. The AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) Program is the training arm of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program established in 1987 by the Department of Health and Human Services’ (DHHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

As part of a national network of 8 regional and 3 national centers the Northeast/Caribbean AETC (NECA AETC) conducts targeted, multi-disciplinary education and training programs and capacity building assistance for healthcare providers and systems treating persons living with HIV/AIDS. Our mission is to improve the health outcomes of persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) along the HIV Care Continuum and strengthen the health care delivery system through the design, delivery and evaluation of training, education and technical assistance for health care providers and organizations.

As we transition to the NECA AETC our website will be updated. Please continue to check our "Whats New” section to the right for information on programs and resources.
